I've been trying to post a reply in the Eberron section Jesse asked to have created since early last evening, any ideas on why it wouldn't be going through?

Where are you trying to post from? Work or home? If you are using a Proxy at work then it could be a problem. I was having some issues from my work as well. I fixed it by adding bardicgrove.org to the exclusion list for my proxy server.

Both work and at home, though the problem seems to have abated now that I chopped up the post into smaller segments. Is there a character limit on posts, perhaps? It was a pretty lengthy message I was attempting...

There might be one, but I am not sure what it would be exactly. Recently tykeal posted a big hurkin post in the "Funny Stuff" forum about some psycho squirrel and it didn't seem to mind too much. Unless yours was like pages upon pages I think it would be fine.

Don't know if there is a character limitation. I would have to go digging in the code to find out. If it was like 2MB of text, that would definitely be a problem though Wink

Well, it was definitely under 2MB of text. If you look in the Eberron forum under "Single Campaigns" and check out "Character Concept Thread" you will find 4 posts of mine in a row (the first is separated from the rest by a post from strattjw) discussing a potential character's level selections from Level 1 to Level 7. Those posts were originally one post which I had attempted to put up last night, but was unable to despite multiple attempts over 2-3 hours. I tried again several times this morning, but still no luck. Then, I tried shortening the post several times until I finally found chunks which would go up.

Sorry I can't be more technical in my explanation, I'm only barely computer-literate.
