Abip Rere "Flex" Abeeb
Sullustan Soldier, Male, 30 years old.

Abip was born on the corporate world of Sullust, and from a young age aspired to a comfortable position in middle management; a taxing path through countless hours locked away in various classrooms, keeping him oblivious to the changes taking place in society.

Finishing in the middle of his class landed Abip the Secondary Supply Manager position at a moderate computer core producation plant at the age of 18. Working hard and staying focused carried him far at his new job, until 2 years later when a group of terrorists overwhelmed the security force, and were on the verge of blowing up the plant when Abip selflessly tackled the bomb-laden assailant down an air shaft; landing himself in a coma for the next 2 years, and earning another two years of rehab on top of that.

At the age of twenty five, unable to return to his beloved management position, Abip spent his days studying weapons and explosions - reliving the incident at the plant five years ago. By the age of 27 he was proficient in holding a gun, looking angry, and able to withstand endless hours of just staring at nothing; which qualified him for the wonderful world of security checkpoint guard for the Imperial Consulate on Sullust.

As more and more Imperial officers came and went, some began to take notice of the statuesque Abip, and after another two years it occurred a passing intel officer that perhaps a strong, angry looking, gun wielding Sullustan would make for a fine addition to the world of intelligence - good with weapons, enjoys explosions, a spookily unnatural strength, and the inability to plot and scheme a double cross.

So, at the age of 29, after a few minor set backs, Abip was off to the Imperial Intelligence Academy to receive his security clearance, as well as train on all manner of data recovery and weapons.

Midway through his 30th year finds Abip placed on the Starship Insurrection, eager to serve the Empire in all of it's explosive glory.

Logan Arkab

You recognize the last name. Admiral Arkab was a hero of Operation: Knightfall. This young human could be his son.

He looks fresh out of the academy, and you would think he was a pilot by looking at his flight jumpsuit, except for the fact that he wears no qualification patches or rank insignia.

He stands six feet tall and looks to be of average strength for a human. He has a Corellian accent and sometimes absently shuffles a deck of Sabacc cards he keeps in a pocket of his flight suit.

He seems friendly enough, but looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

Greevik, Rodian Scout

Greevik was a survivor who was carving out an existence on a backwater fringe planet mostly dominated by unforgiving wilderness. Though typically self-sufficient in terms of survival, he would occasionally offer his services as a guide to expedition parties from offworld corporations hoping to find resources to exploit, or the occasional hunter seeking a trophy of one of the planet's various unique creatures.

When vast quantities of a valuable mineral (used for capital ship production) were discovered, the Imperials moved to take control of the planet. Lacking any previous presence there, the Imperials sought to hire locals to serve as guides and scouts for the operation. Listed as a guide in several off-world databases, Greevik was approached by the Imperials for his services. The pay was excellent, and it was clear that other future employment on the world was unlikely, so Greevik agreed to work for them.

Greevik ended up working directly for the officer in charge of overseeing the operation to secure the planet. As the planet was brought under Imperial control and the operation wound down, the officer, fond of the guide who had served him well (and once saved him from being devoured by a particularly nasty carnivorous tree), pulled some string to get Greevik a slot in the Imperial intelligence academy, and strongly encouraged him to take it.

Future prospects looking dim on the now Imperial-controlled planet, Greevik decided to attend. While not particularly fond of the loss of personal freedom the academy would entail, Greevik figured that it was a unique opportunity to learn new skills, and if it was too awful, he figured he could disappear into the wilderness of some other fringe world.

Academy, it turns out, was not that bad for Greevik. Some fellow cadets complained that the academy was "harsh", though compared to surviving alone in the wilderness, Greevik thought it quite posh. Though he never swallowed the Imperial indoctrination, he discovered early on that Rodian sarcasm (or at least HIS Rodian sarcasm) was completely lost on the mostly-human officers that ran the academy, and was somehow interpreted as a sincere gung-ho attitude... If ever lost for words (or bored/tired/frustrated), Greevik would say the most absurdly sarcastic thing he could think of, and these people would eat it up. It never got old for Greevik, and ironically, got him branded as an ambitious go-getter by the chain of command.

The Academy flew by, and to Greevik's own suprise and amusement, he now finds himself an Imperial freakin' intelligence officer. Life is too weird.... now what?

My character looks something like this:

Very Happy

No, seriously. I asked Jenn what type of character I should play for stratt's Star Wars campaign and she said "Worf!" She didn't care that it wasn't the right world - she likes Star Trek better... Smile

So yeah, that's my guy. He comes from a family of military peeps, his father being a somewhat big guy in the Empire. He just graduated with honors from the military academy.
Go in Pieces.
