Odd...yesterday, when I edited the "Marcraft III" entry, my message was modified to indicate number of times edited, and last edit time, but when I made several modifications to my PCC post, trying to figure out the BBCode bits, it never indicated that the final post was not the original.

Any ideas on this one -- more a curiousity than a hey this is broken comment...

Modification notifications work thusly with the newest version of the software:

  • You can modify your post as often as you dang well please
  • Unlike the previous version of the boards you can never modify the modification notificaction string
  • If nobody has responded to it when you try and modify it and it has been under ~10 minutes (I believe) no modification string will be added
  • A count of the number of edits (since the modification string was added) will be kept. There will ever only be one modification string.
  • Moderator(s) for a forum and administrator(s) for the board can "blindly" edit any posts.
