Well, I'm not sure how well weekends will work this month.

I've got work engagements potentially every weekend this month, so we may be looking at June 2 as the next session.

I will be returning from California at 8:07pm and I'd like a pickup at the airport.

Would anybody object to a Sunday gaming session on the 3rd?

Can't say as I would. But I'm not the only one to consider. Anyone else have an objection?

I wouldn't object. Are you asking one of us to pick you up from the airport, Katherine?

I'll do the Katherine pick-up thing, but that does mean that Sunday would be a better day to game.

I'm up for it, if the wife allows. :p

That sounds like at least 4 gamers and 1 dm for Sunday the 3rd. Does someone want to call Jesse? I'll see Steve W on Saturday. Is Bruce still busy? Did I miss anyone?

Bruces peformances are this weekend. Hopefully that means Bruce will be among the campaign goers again. Of course when I asked him about it he was getting himself beaten to a bloody pulp play Tetrinet against me so he was a little evasive and annoyed with me Very Happy

If he should pop over today I can ask again before I seriously damage his ego (or mine) some more.

Are we going to continue to host the dungeonworld thingy in Tacoma or is it going to migrate north to ShoeCastle?

I am not bitching about it being in Tacoma.
I'm not, I'm not, I'm not.

I'm just curious about these things.

Hehe, Locksley are you getting annoyed with all the interuptions that happen here? My only question in in reguards to that, out of curiosity is there a forseeable event that's going to get us off the floor at ShoeCasa?

I don't mind playing on the floor, however, I think an extended session like happens with Dungeonworld would get a bit trying if we didn't have some seats. Besides, putting the MasterMaze stuff out on the carpet doesn't sound all that appealing to me.

Maybe we could help invest in some trestle tables for ShoeCasa and some folding chairs Smile

It's not the interruptions. Really. And I don't mind when half the group is not with the game. Really. I was merely curious. I'm an innocent inquirer. Really.

This is the warning. Acceptable acronyms for our house include everything except the one that refers to unsavory meat byproducts or unsolicited mail (depending on your point of reference).

(note: house policy for the last 12-14 months has been that such references earn the offender a single warning, after which every future occurance results in a ban from the house of AMPS for a minimum of 30 days. This probably sounds dumb to several of you, but there are some lines that we cannot allow crossed.)

I have to say that the interruptions have been minimal in the last few months.

As far as furniture in the forseeable future... We're looking, but not necessarily buying yet. Steve wants to move the "Ash" chair into the living room, but until we get replacement seats in the family room, that's not going to happen.

I would suggest that we keep this next session in Tacoma, and we can talk after that if people are interested in moving.

So, we know what to get Steve Phil Andy Milton for Xmas don't we? Lots of it too.

Anyway, it's not MAPS. Or AMPS. It is, has been, always will be, the Frat House. Anyone who thinks otherwise is deluding themselves about the nature of the dwelling.

And I wasn't actually suggesting moving anything. I like gaming in Tacoma. And while Andy brings up a good point about the MasterMaze stuff, I remember the good old days when you didn't have a lead, the only map was the one Steve made based on Shoe's descriptions, and such.

Of course, I also remember when D&D had a Basic Set, and Expert Set, and so on...Damn. I've been playing for awhile.

And Katherine, I love you forever for naming the chair "The Ash Chair." That is so cool. I've never had anything named after me except the Robin-o-matic.

Actually, the Ash-Chair got its name due to an unfortunate incident that occurred during a certain cleaning of the fireplace. Smile

And for the xmas present idea: I vote for cured luncheon meat with lots of mustard.

Love to, Rob, but see.. I've been warned that if I mention that again that I won't be able to go there anymore.

Some weird aversion, I guess.

You see, but I am loved and love them in return. I would hope I would not be banished for providing them with something they could SURELY find a use for... Wink

Especially one done in the spirit of a good prank...and from one who endured YEARS of that FUCKING Brave Sir Robin song in college.

Howdy all!

I am not going to be available to game the weekend of June 2nd/June 3rd; I confirmed today that I'll be out of town. The next weekend would work (but Steve would be gone then)... =(

Any suggestions...?

Steve

Not that I am part of your merry little (large) group or anything, but if needed I have an 8' folding table that is not being used. If it is needed, I have no objections to loaning it out for a while.

The wife informs me however that it will be needed again in August as we are going to be moving and it makes for a great horizontal surface to clutter up.

In response to SteveW's recent comment: We are still planning on moving on with the Dungeonworld campaign this weekend. The party will just have to wait until later to determine why the demons were bowing to the paladin.

There are other avenues the party could explore. I'll have some hooks set up in the beginning of the session.

One of our "problems" right now is the size of the group. We have so many players that trying to balance everyone's schedules is quite difficult. Perhaps we need to discuss that at the session on Sunday.
