I'd like to hear your thoughts on the Saturday session. What do you think so far?

I like the world.

I like the fact that we have a defined common goal. (Whether all the party members choose to follow it is another story....)

I'm concerned about the introduction of mind-flayers. Not because I don't think they should be used, but because I don't know how well my character is to defend against them. Even after the periapt of wisdom, my will save is only +4.

As a pure warrior, I felt very helpless when I was stunned and only through the grace of Milt's character did I not die. I'm worried about the possibility of that happening again. I can always use my bow, but in these caverns, I may not always have the distance to strike at them from outside the range of their mind abilities.

Again, this is something new for me, and I'm sure that DMShoe will send many, many more things at us than just mind-flayers, so I'm not completely concerned, but N'Edala is scared as hell of those things and is going to keep her distance.

VERY COOL! I thought that that was a GREAT idea to get a party together with a common purpose. So much to discover and figure out! I'm in and hooked!
